May 30, 2016 (San Diego’s East County) --County Service Area 26 Citizen Advisory Board is looking for members. This organization advises the County Department ofParks and Recreation about care, operations and maintenance, and the budget for same, of the parks in its jurisdiction, from Lonnie Brewer Park (next to Kaiser on Avocado BL) to Woodhaven Park in Cottonwood.
This work is very important. Just like Community Planning Group members, Citizen Advisory Board members are unpaid volunteers, appointed by Supervisor Jacob.
